And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

This is the promise Jesus gives His disciples when they set out for the Great Commission. A promise to always be with them and empower them, guide them and lead them. This is who Jesus is; he never leaves us alone to do things in our own strength. He takes responsibility for His flock and Shepherds us.

People come and go in our lives. Friends and relationships in this world are only temporary, but Jesus is unlike others. He is with us to the end of the age. The scripture also tells us that he is the beginning and the end. Therefore, Jesus is with us for eternity. He is our Lord, our Friend and our Shepherd. His presence goes everywhere we go. He is with us in all seasons.

My child, if you are wondering today if God is with you, remember, the stronger our faith, the closer we sense His presence. Faith pleases God and draws His presence closer to us. So today, remember God is with you. Nothing can separate you from Him. Strengthen your faith and trust that He is with you.

Dear Lord, we thank you for being with us. Truly, you are faithful and never leave us. In the quietness, we sense you and thank you for your beautiful presence. Let your presence be so tangible as we dwell in prayer and your word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
