I will go before you and will level the mountains;
I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron.

In this new season God is doing wonderful things for us. The promise highlights the pathway before us. As we live in a fallen world, it’s important to recognise that not everything before us is safe for us neither it is straight forward. But when God takes control of us as we surrender to him, he promises us to go before us.

My child, when a highly renowned or significant person travels on a road, not only is he in a bullet proof car but also accompanied by security. The security goes before him and clears the way for him. Likewise, God is promising us that He will go before us and straighten the crooked paths for us.

Secondly, no matter how much resistance is before us, He promises to break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. There is no power greater than the power of Jesus. The Father has given Him all authority, and Jesus is pulling down all the high things so we can walk through safely. Remember the time when God parted the Red Sea for Israelites when chased by the Egyptians. This is our God and He is straightening the crooked paths for us today and leveling the mountains so we can move forward.

Dear Lord, we thank you that you are in control of our lives. Thank you for going before us and straightening the crooked paths for us. If God is for us who can be against us. Everything high thing must bow low before you. Lord, we humble ourselves and move forward to our destiny by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
