For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.
Romans 11:36 [NIV]
Often, we get so caught up in finding answers and understanding God’s sovereignty and His plans. In Romans chapter 11, we see Paul reasoning out God’s grace to show everyone that His mercy is for everyone.
33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and[i] knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?”[j]
35 “Who has ever given to God,
that God should repay them?
There is no way we can repay God for who He is and what He has done for us. Therefore, Paul concludes with verse 36 that the Lord is the source of all and for all. For from Him we live, our Creator, and through Him we are strengthened to face our challenges and remain sustained, and for Him are all things; the ultimate purpose of our life is Him. So, our goals should not be limited to earthly goals but to pursue the Highest who deserves our all.
My child, whatever you are facing today, stand firm that you have “HIM”, the Creator, the Sustainer and the Ultimate purpose of our lives. Our circumstances are changing, but our Creator is sovereign; the ultimate power rests in Him.
To Him be the Glory! Amen.
Prayer
Dear Lord, Thank you for who you are—the Creator, Sustainer and the Purpose of our lives. We submit to your sovereign reign and worship you with all our hearts. All glory, honour, power, praise to you alone. In Jesus name, Amen.
