Washed in the Blood

Washed in the Blood

…………and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.                                                                                                                 Rev 7: 14 [NKJV]

Today the Lord has embossed these words on my heart, “washed in the blood.’ The outworking of faith is in the washing of our robes. Repentance is key for every Christian to be free and be a child of God. Washing robes is not an act of self-righteousness but of repentance in seeking salvation.  The blood of Jesus shed for our sins cleanses us and makes us righteous before God. Our righteousness is like filthy rags, the scripture says. Self-righteousness separates us from God, but the blood of Jesus covers us with His garment of righteousness and makes us whole.

Christ’s sacrifice for you can remove even the most stubborn stain of sin. The blood of Jesus is pure and holy. It has cleansing power and washes us clean. Just as we use detergent to cleanse our clothes in the washing machine, the only thing that can cleanse us of our sin is the blood of Jesus.

So, I encourage you today to repent of anything on your heart that is separating you from God. Nothing can remove the stain of sin except the blood of Jesus. There is no sin that God cannot forgive and make us white as snow with His blood. Today, I plead the blood of Jesus and declare complete cleansing over our lives that we are made white in the blood of the lamb.

Let’s Pray:

Dear Lord, we thank you for your blood. Thank you for forgiving us of our sin and cleansing us with your Blood. Teach us to wash our robes in repentance. We come to the Lamb of God who takes away all our sins. Thank you for washing us today with your blood and making us white again. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
